Myth behind the creature: Aos Sí
Appearance:
5'11, brown hair, brown eyes, slim athletic build.
Abilities: Shapeshifter: turns into a large raven, Doctor of Medicine and surgery. University of Edinburgh 1782 (first degree, has others). Fae magic, but tries to not use it often. Hard to explain otherwise.
History: Fae Prince, came to the mortal/human world ~1750 to avoid Court politics (aka arranged marriage) and not be beholden for favors for anyone. Lived as a member of the gentry on an estate near Cork. Married Miss Sarah Butler (b. 1754 d. 1779) 1774 - her death in 1779. No children. Her death sparked him to find a cure for pulmonary tuberculosis (consumption). Has traveled all over Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas since then. Used his glamour to help people forget him once they started aging faster than he did. Occasionally returns home to his mother's Court. Has two sisters, only son. Carries the family name, so he is under pressure to marry. But he wants to choose his wife.
Anything else: Charming, flirtatious (womanizer) Irishman with the accent. Guards his True Name so ha can't be compelled with it. Smells like peat, whiskey, and the forest.
